PORTER TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Porter Township Fire Department received a grant from the Assistance to FireFighter’s Grant program on April 18th, 2014 for $51,500.

This grant is to purchase new rescue equipment (Jaws of Life) for the department. We were able to buy new spreaders, cutters, a battery operated

combi-tool, air lifting bags, windshield cutter, and a vehicle stabilization kit.
