Porter Township has relocated an outdoor Storm Warning/Fire Siren, previously located at 11725 Gallia Pike, to the Porter Township Road & Bridge Garage at 8809 Green Street. This siren will help alert residents in your area of impending severe weather conditions and fire emergencies. As with all other sirens located throughout the township, monthly testing will occur on the first Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Please contact the trustee’s office with any questions at 740-574-4245.

 MAY 14TH - MAY 17TH

Residents may dispose of unwanted items and debris from

Wednesday, May 14th -  Saturday, May 17th

7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

 Dumpsters will be located at the Service Department located at 8809 Green Street in Wheelersburg. 

This is a fenced in area and access will only be given to Porter Township residents.

Drivers' licenses will be checked.  All debris must be placed in the dumpsters and

not beside them.  No hazardous materials such as paint, oil. asbestos,

refrigerators, freezers, etc. will be accepted.
